John Dimopoulos – Founding Director and Nominated Architect #7062
John is the principal and director of Geoform Design Architects, which he founded in 2004. Prior to that, he was director of Geoform Design which he founded in 1986.
He started his architectural journey working in the Government Architect Office in Athens whilst still at UNSW and continued in Sydney upon his return with JCTW and Neville Gruzman OA, where he was finally introduced to the love of intelligent design with emotional restraint that is unapologetic in its creating a sense of wonder + joy for its occupants. In 2000 he and Brianna were included the 40 emerging Architects under 40 which showcased as “40-up” Australian Architects next generation exhibition in Berlin. As a registered architect in NSW, a member of both the Australian Institute of Architects and the ACA, along with his senior role in various Council’s Design Review Panels, he has extensive experience in all aspects of the design process.
He is a graduate of Architecture from the University of New South Wales, where his continued involvement with university teaching since 1984, across all design and construction stream years, is testament to his interest in both the transformative and educational aspects of architecture.

Brianna Thomas – Co-founder and Head of Interiors”
Brianna joined Geoform in 1988 and, having graduated from RMIT, brings a Melbourne design rigour to the interior design division of the office. Showcasing her eye for detail and sophisticated sense of materiality.
Prior to that, Brianna worked in some of the most prestigious global interiors firms such as Fitch Company and Sir Terence Conran Group, both in London and with Geyer Design Group and also Davenport Campbell in Sydney. Brianna’s worldly and urban chic sensibility brings warmth and delight to her projects and can lead to a friendship with clients that remains well past the project completion. Additionally, she is also employed as the national visual merchandiser for space furniture and is an expert in furniture design and procurement.
Paul Waddington

Paul has reliably led the interior department of geoform for over 10 years and is one of the longest standing members of our team. With over 20 years’ experience specialising in high-end residential and retail projects, paul has mentored numerous young architects and interior designers with his refined approach to design. His knowledge of the industry, attention to detail and having a demeanour that exudes professionalism keeps clients happy and coming back for more attention. Like all architects, paul enjoys travel, but usually you will find him enjoying a cuppa tea in front of his computer desk.

Lauren Ritchie
ACCOUNTS MANAGER
While our architects work creatively on the drawing board Lauren’s fresh and friendly yet fastidious style has been pivotal to the company’s exponential growth over recent years, , Lauren works on fostering clear pathways between the client and the project’s contractual obligations and maintains smooth client relations in the business. Her experience with the big four accounting firms and a successful business owner in her own right have enabled her to make decisions that benefit not only our company but also our clients. When not crunching numbers, Lauren loves spending time with her young family.

Spiro Stavis
Senior Planning and Development Consultant
Trained as an urban and statutory planner, for over 30 years Spiro, besides his many years at senior levels in Council planning departments, has led projects across the full development lifecycle — from site identification, feasibility, and due diligence, through strategic planning, design coordination, and approvals, to construction, commissioning, and long-term operational performance. His experience covers residential, mixed-use, community, institutional and infrastructure-related developments across NSW.
